We have the great honor to welcome you to the 14th International Scientific and Practical Conference "Ukrainian School of Mining Engineering".
Our School starts in 2007 as the "Underground Engineering School".
As time passed and the number of participants in the conference in different areas of mining increased. At present, the conference is represented by specialists in underground and open-pit mining of mineral resources, mineral processing, mining engineering, labor protection and the environment. That is why it is true that our School has evolved from the School of Underground Engineering to the School of Mining Engineering.
We live in a very interesting time - a time of great transformation in science, technology and technology. This is the time of the fourth industrial revolution, characterized by intellectual technologies based on artificial intelligence and the latest foundations: blockchain technologies, virtual and augmented realities, large databases, digitization, robotization, etc. The very attitude towards engineering is changing - new specialties are emerging, such as robot consultant, virtual reality architect, 3D printing engineer, and more.
In the field of mineral exploration and production, the world's leading companies, such as: Rio Tinko, Atlas Copco, Caterpillar, ACFR, ABB, offer system solutions for operational intervention in any technological chain of the mine, starting with the slaughter and ending with the shipment of goods to the consumer.
We are convinced that the professional and representative level, knowledge, experience and high human qualities of the participants of our meeting will make it possible to make suggestions and recommendations that will help to increase the efficiency of further development of the mining industry.
